So, tomorrow, i'm going to buy everything for my grow. I have a few questions.

Firstly, will about a single plug in Air Freshener for every two plants do for smell? (The Air Fresheners will be about a foot away from the plants) I don't have much money for anything fancy.

Second. On the topic of smell, when will plants start to smell? When will it be worst?

Finally, any more advice you could give me would be great.

For the smell I would reccomend (sp?) buying furnace filters with activated charcoal and rigging it up at the end of your exhaust system.. i don't see masking the smell working as well as trapping it in a filter...

also, i think the stench is highly dependent on the strain.. my boy just cropped a few trees and they were stinking, not heavily, but stinking during vegging... so bear that in mind...

be safe.. you can always just buy this damn scrubber at the bottom of every page on this forum for $50.. also, check the diy section, there's some plans for carbon filters to get yourself brainstorming

also, having those plugins that close to the plants may leave deposits on the nugs... maybe, i dont know how they work

Thanks. But i decided against the carbon filtering system, its hard to ventilate air around my space, its not very in closed so it would be hard to filter all the air out in one place.

Ive been planning and thinking about this all for quite a while, my only problem is the smell, and the only real option i have is investing in a few air fresheners. I will only have about 3 plants growing, but they are being grown indoors. I have guests quite often, so a flat stinking of weed isn't gonna look very good.

scented candles maybe?
