i was thinking about buying a old FRIDGE and turning it into a GROWBOX BCUZ OF SECURITY REASONS can i turn this into an HYDROPONIC APPLICATION in theory in should work in any comments or concerns????

An old fridge is perfect for a stealth grow, as it shouldn't leak light or smell. If you take the mechanics out [compressor], be careful, as it contains freeon gas. Not 100% sure, but I think it's against the law to release the freeon [but please don't quote me on this]. One nice thing about using a unit like this is that you can really control the temps and oxygen. Could make for a very interesting DIY thread. Good luck!

cool i think ima do that because i wanna grow and breed and i was thinking i could use the freezer for clones or breeding you know and to top it off in my lease it states that my landlord must have an key i ain't trying to take that chance the fridge idea might set me back a few weeks, but to grow in almost complete secrecy priceless ill keep yall posted I'm bout to go find a broken fridge preferable but ill buy a old working one if i have to NELSON Ill read up on the Freon thing but i think your right. do you think ill need to cut a exhaust hole?

i would say that fresh air is a must, so you may need an intank and out take hole. may want to put a diy carbon filter on the outake to cover up smell.
