    Yes, it is when you have multiple top buds.

    The bottom one you can't really see that good, because of the angle, but it has four tops total.

    Or this.... this was topped twice

    you pinch or cut the top shoot and it will grow out the sides.. there is instructions in ROLLITUP that tells yo uhow to do it
