Exclamation spiders and spider mites

Hi sorry to sound like a dumb ass, but i was wondering if anyone knows if spiders will harm ganja plants? From what i could gather off the internet its only spider mites that will do any harm, but i'm not to sure if the plain old garden spiders would have an effect?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

If the spiders are just passing through they shouldn't be a problem. Their webs now that could be a sticky problem.

If you see webs, along with leaves that look like they're flaked with gold spots, you have spider mites. And by the time the webs appear, its usually over for the plants.

thanks, i just set my grow room up today but i still gotta get a few more things to complete it. I couldn't see any mites just regular spiders so hopefully if anything trys to get at my plants the spiders will sort them

You won't be able to see spider mites. They are so tiny you need a scope to see them. Go to Radio Shack and spend $12. on one of their 30x scopes. Check on the bottoms of the leaves for the mites.
