how tall can i let my plants grow in this room

Hey I'm about to start growing and was wondering how tall a plant could get indoors in a room that is 8 feet tall. i assumed since the size of the light and spacing from the plants would be about a foot total and the height of the pots is about that. so they would have about 5-6ft to grow right? and if so is there any way to do SOG or some other method with that tall of a plant haha.

any info on this is appreciated, thanks.

Well one tip is raise your light all the way up. Measure from the light to the top of your planters, devide that by three and you will find out when to switch them to flower. That will give you enough room for your plants to more than double in size when you switch them to flower and they stretch. I would also keep your light about 18in from your canopy. Unless you have an air cooled hood.
