i found a pool ph tester and i tryed it on the water ive been using... right now it seems like its high 7.3 give or take .2+ or .1- what adverse affects would a high(alkalie) water have on my plants ?

If your PH it off it might stress it a little and your nutrient intake wont be as good since nutrients have a preferred level.

But 7.3 isnt THAT bad, but if you can lower it then go for it.

hmm well right now i have yellowing in the leaves off my sprouts and im not sure whats causing it...

temps = 69-83 (usually high 70s low 80's when lights on)
hum = 30-50 (usally high 30's low 40's )
nute = none yet
light = 100 watt cfl ( 4 inches away)
PH = apparently 7.3 (let it sit for 24-48 hours befor use)

plants are aprox 1 week (plus 2 older stunted plants)(1 month)
aprox 3-4 inches 2-3 sets of leaves pics in my sig

Does it have a real set of leaves yet? The ones that look like marijuana leaves?

And if the round leaves are yellowing, its normal.

But by looking at your pics, I would say its your soil. Looks really bunched up and... weird. What kind are you using?

its some "promix" potting soil or something... thats all HD had... that and like 200 diffrent kinds of miricle grow... i wanted to fuckin burn that place to the ground... then i remembered soil didnt burn .... as for the leave comments... im pretty sure that every set of leaves other then the first "fake set" are real leaves... they dont look much like marijuana leaves other then 1-2 were i can see it comming in the round leaves are way dead and gone by now im talking about the actual next 2 sets of leaves. as for the pics my camera is crappy .. would bunchy soil fuck with the plants that much ?

detals = all the edges of the leaves are yellow all around.. then it usally follows up with whitening then blackening then dieing of the leaves slowly.. i really dont know whats causing this but its really fucking with my grow...
