im vegging 3 big bang day 16 and 3 arjans strawberry haze. day 18. i started with flo's but there now under 250hps for now. they seem to be doing much better under the hps. now they have gotten used to it.
do the plants seem ok?. for there age.

They there looking good bro! Thats ample light for the amount of plants ya got there. There looking lush though. Whats the temp, ph, and what kind of ventilation are they getting? And what type of soil are you using? Just wanna know the details.

i use my own soil,mixed with peagravel sand vacumate and perlite and my own compost, i add a small amount of bloo/bone meal everytime i pot on.
temps always 68 to 75.
i have a fan blowing 24/7 and holes in the top for the hot air to expel out when the fan blows on the lite.its good it works.
ive sort of made my own way as ive grown. ive been growing 10 months now, and i think everyone finds there own way to grow in there own personel grow space, as i grwo, im finding some ways work better, than others in my grow space.

When I first switched to a higher wattage HID, i thought my plants where goners! less than 1/2 hour under the new lights and I had over 80% leaf necrosis. I was getting ready to just pull them up and start again but figured what the hell - i'll see what happens. in a few days, they had replaced all the foliage and grew! i was pleasantly surprised.

i realize this is anecdotal but i wouldn't pull up any plants until they are really, really dead (or male).

yes they can be stronger than you think. at the end of the day. its a weed. and look how hard weeds are to kill?.

yes thats what i was thinking. its a big diff. going from small flos to hps, i think it takes time for the plants ajust.
