If I recall correctly MG Organic Choice Potting Soil does NOT contain MG fertilizer. It has nutrients in the soil like any other soil would though. I used MG Perlite and had no problems whatsoever, but I will be flushing next time around. Hearsay from my buddy is that you want to steer clear of the time relase stuff.

The nutrients already in it really wont be any harm to your plants, meaning the time release.. ive been using MG w/ time release for a long time now. and it usually wears off within the first couple of weeks. theres really not that much in it, especially for a pot plant. IMO anyway... others would probably disagree.
