im wanting to do a scrog grow. in vegging 13 plants, i want to know how tall should i vegg, im growing in soil, under 400hps. i have space and height,
how many plants per 400hps. i have a spare 250 if needed.for the scrog grow.
how big should i vegg.
should i topp the plants for more even,colas.
im also going to do a sog,grow at the same time, ill use the rest of the plants for that. i have another grow space and lite for that grow.

Well generally SOG grows are small plants, just a ton of them. As for ScrOG grows, I'm not too sure but I would assume since it is similar in some ways to the SOG, probably start flowering small-medium, and go from there.

But to be truthful, I'd really like to hear a good response to this one for myself.

im doing a scrog right now and plan to veg them to only about 12 inches before they hit the screen. then everything after that will fill out the screen a bit. i might actually drop the screen to about 10 inches after all is said and done. since it will be growing horizontal instead of vertical the plant will be longer from soil to tip than it will be tall since the screen is holding it down. you could continue to veg it under the screen which is what i am doing. might reach 18-24 inches before it goes into flower. so long as the screen is filled up it doesnt really matter how tall they are or how long you veg.

ive got space, how many plants per 400hps.
should i pull more than one head off the plants, so more/double colas?.
how big should the holes be on the screen"1 or 2" square?".
im really looking forward to this grow, my new babys are 18 days old now, ive just got em under the 250 hps. for now. then, when i start to flower, put em under 400hps, and if needed ill add the 250 too.
Im planning a bigger grow, for after the new year, getting 1 or 2 1000hps, so i want to do a bigger grow, plus i like bigger plants, vegged more than 4/5 weeks. id like to vegg for 8 weeks, when i have the room.and lite.
any info for my current grow, and any pics of yours will be much app.

whatever it takes to fill the screen up with bud sites. 2" is prefered but I use 1 inch wire.

Yes, but each time you do this, the buds will get smaller. But, you will have more tops. GL

would it be good for a scrog grow. i was wondering if this would work.

man where have i been? people need my help! SOG is not "small plants", many SOG grows get ovr 5' high. sog is just many plants together, that have been pruned to force the plant to produce bud into a single cola. scrog is very easy. i do a combination of scrog and fim. all you do is group your plants together and hang a wire fence over the canopy. i generally start the "fencing in" when the plants get about 6" high. i let them grow for most of the vegetative stage then start FIM'ing right before switching to flower. most of my buds are about the same size, never really notice a "decrease". each plant using this method for me yields about 1lb. no matter what strain ive grown. (with the exception of some really poor yielders)
