Default Aquarium PH tester

Im having trouble in my side of the world finding a proper PH soil tester..
Anyone think a aquarium PH tester would work for checking PH in soil?
Im sure it would be fine for my water, and fertilizers PH.. I just want to make sure the PH in my soil will be good, and balanced.. Thx in advanced

Thx for the link.. It will come in handy Im sure.. I guess there isnt any reason an aquarium ph tester wouldnt work this way..

aqarium tester wont work it doesnt go low enough. they usually start at about 6.5...

i have a low range ph tester for aquariums it goes from 4 to 8 i believe.... although im not sure how accurate it is.

im using a pool ph tester the only think is it only shows 6.8-7.8 but it works awsome

o to check soil do you have a home depot around they have testers that are 1 time it comes with a little pill and tube

No Im overseas in Asia, and there isnt anything like that here.. I mean there are hardware stores, but its nothing like a home depot.. Not even close.. Guess its no big deal, I will just get it from ebay Thx for the advise though
