Default So I'm going on vacation...
...and I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a good system for keeping your plant(s) alive while you're gone. I have one plant that's about 30 days old. It's not that big of a deal but I'd rather not let all my effort go to waste. Not to mention the emotional attachment. I'd appreciate any advice.

On a side note I'd just like to say that I am new to this website (this is my first post by the way) and I have been amazed by how knowledgeable and helpful the members are. I have learned so much, and I just want to say thanks to all the frequent posters for sharing the wisdom.

Well first of all how long will you be gone? Second of all are you still vegging or have you induced flowering? Do you have timers? Just try to be a little bit more specific.

Hank.

got a cat that can water for you?...lol almost 2 weeks is along time to be away from your growing babies anything can go wrong in just 1 day, you could come home to plants laying on there sides dead, most likely u will need an auto drip system......i think.

Default Irrigation...........
An auto drip system would be ideal. Just be sure to give them a good water before you leave.

Hank.

Even with an autodrip system, things can still go wrong. Without being there everyday, you can't ensure that your plants will live. They simply are attention whores.

i find that if i leave my plants alone for a week or two (hydro system) they are MUCH better off than me fiddling with them constantly.
