On this site from what I have read it is 50/50 on pruning leaves. If I were you I would prune one and leave one alone. Do a side by side comparison and see what plant does better! There is nothing like life experiance, just experiment and see what works bro. GL and grow big or go home!

No sorry bro I am on my first grow. Learning as I go. But there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have the kind of plants that I have now without this site!

Anybody Want To Double Their Yield?- Desertrat's Top and Prune?
It's a good read and you will see the controversy that follows it! LOL but one thing you can't argue with is pictures!

what do you want to know about scrogging?
Yes you should definitely prune the bottom leaves off, provided your canopy is thick and light doesn't reach down there. if this is the case, pruning is suggested because whatever grows down there will be crap anyways. if your plants are outdoors or are really stretching out laterally, thereby making space where light does in fact reach down through the plant (more typical of sativa varieties) then you might not want to prune the plant, or prune less, because the buds down there might be worth keeping.
check out my sour grapes grow videos on youtube. the link is in my signature. i prune the shit out of those plants (and all my others) at the end of week 2 of flowering. i want to encourage the plant growth in the areas i want (the colas) and not where i dont want (underneath in the dark).
also check out my blue dream/ mendo afgoo (also on youtube link) grow if you want to see a basic scrog (or at least a concept very similar) in a closet. not exactly a scrog but you could call it somethiing very similar. each plant has its own screen. if you guys have questions about how to train under the screen then ask away.

**** Disclaimer.... I am on my first crop, and according to my rating can barely accomplish rolling a joint...
Many plants pictured here, and everywhere else do look like they are missing a few leaves on the bottom branches. This does not necessarily mean that scissors were involved. Perhaps, and I am guessing based on what my plants are doing.... Some of the bottom leaves seem to "shed" off naturally. New growth on the top-side, seems to keep up with "shedding" on the bottom-end. { If the new growth did not keep up with shedding.. I would obviously be concerned. }
To someone that doesn't know my plants history, or my techniques etc... in a few weeks it may very well look like I administered a "haircut" , a little trim around the ears. That is not the case.
