    Default quick light question for flowering

    T-5 setup 16,000 lumens compared to 10 26w CFLs which is close to the same amount of lumens.

    question is.. how much hotter will the CFL setup be?

    the cost isn't even close. $250 for the T-5 or like $50 to get the CFL setup

    I'm guessing the CFL setup will produce more heat. CFLs do get hot ... not skin burning hot like an HID but they do produce heat. The T5s are longer therefore the heat would be distributed over a larger area. With the $150 saving you could set up some sort of DIY ventilation. Shit ... do that for $50 too and buy some more CFls with the other $50
