Default Help! plant fallinf down (with pic)
two big problems that i have with this one:
1.the plant is only 3 weeks old,and besides the fact that it's growing
very slow-it started to fall down.
2.the bottem is all dry.
I hade the same problem with another plant and it died...
by the way-it's a clone.
WHAT TO DO ? ? ?
thank you very much...

That is a huge pic, lol. FOr one the pot is too big to start off in. Try putting in a smaller pot. Is that a stick or something you got hter to hold it up? If so, get a bigger one like chop stick or something and gently tie to it. Water only when needed and looks too smal for nutes yet, so just plain ph'd water for now.

Re-pot it to a smaller pot, be careful though.

Well from that pic, the pot looks really big. If too big, it will stay wet longer. I am no expert, but I think the size of the pot should match the size of the plant (not exactly but to the extent you want your plant to grow. ie: I put seedlings in smaller pots so they can be watered and nutes accordingly. It is easier to tell when water is needed in a smaller pot. Just my thoughts though.

oic...that makes sense...I maybe have done a booboo then as I am starting in the final pot size....as I wanted to avoid the transplanting process - for a variety of reasons - but I am watering from the bottom up...and keeping lava or similar rock on the soil to retain top moisture. I dunno. I guess I'll see how it works out.

I would reinforce the plant with more soil to support the stem, as high up as you can. I have started in small pots and big ones and have seen no major difference other than the bigger ones hold water longer. Just be patient, dont over water and trust your plant to grow, it wants to trust me.
