this is all before i've started the 12/12; My tallest plant has 2 points at the top that each have 2 white hairs coming out of each point, so 4 hairs in all. Does this indicate female? Sorry, I have no camera.

It does sound like you are talkling about pistils, which is a confirmation of female. Just as long as they are white, and maybe not being mistaken as new growth.

Females have white hairs but so do hermi's so you either have females or hermi's.

A hermi is a plant with both pollen sacks and buds.

if it is a hermi It will end up with seeds in the bud, so you can keep it are you can get raid of it.
