Alright, here’s my first grow attempt in progress. It’s a stealth rubbermaid cfl grow. I started with 5 feminized AK 47 seeds and 4 additional bagseed from a batch my dude called “Purple Nurple” because of the purple and almost pink-like hairs on the weed. I figure this would be a good start for my first grow. Out of the 9 seeds total, only 1 Ak47 seedling and 1 Purple Nurple seedling have survived. The others didn’t germinate/ we’re lost in early seedling days due to Miracle Gro soil, which is now replaced with Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil.

The Ak47, which was initially planted into soil after germinating on 10-7-07, recently took a bad nitrogen intoxication due to the miracle gro and early ferting so the first set of leaves have burnt to a crisp, the other 4 sets of leaves look green and healthy, and hopefully after transplanting them into Fox Farms soil they’ll love it.

Here is a list of supplies I will be using from the start. Everything I have to assemble my cab was from Home Depot EXCEPT the actual 14GAL Rubbermaid storage Bin, but I’m sure those run for around $20 or so. I also stopped @ my local Hydro Store to pick up some Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and Fox Farm Tiger Bloom nutrients. Here’s a quick run down of the pricing and equipment.

Box of Aluminum Foil $2 (Yes, foil, I don’t think two 30w and 42w cfls in this grow space will cause many burnspots, plus I’ve read you can use the less shiny side for added protection against the burn spots)

Okay so basically here’s the run down.

Started the AK47 on 10-07-07 and it’s almost one month old, but she’s VERY short and yellow and stunted growth. I hope she can still survive if we just let her veg until she looks (more normal?).

Started the "purple nurple" on 10-26-07 so it's around 10 days old now so tell me what you think of the last pictures of the purple nurple.

So basically I only have 1 plant for my first grow, the bagseed ‘purple nurple’. I realize this leaves me little chance of a female, but if I can get a plant to even reach flower I think I’ve done alright for my first time. Little depressed that out of all those seeds I only have one healthy looking plant. (I BLAME MG!!! )

Conditions: 18/6 lighting currently w/ humidifier temps around 70-80f with humidity @ 50%. i breathe in on her once a day for whatever co2 they might need. gona start feeding once the first round leaves yellow and fall off correct?

Alright, Yes I realize I forgot to LST and whatever, but I guess I'm just really noobie at it and didn't know when/how I should go about doing it. So i'm obviously running into the problem of not enough space. I'll be adding another rubbermaid i'm sure lol. I'm not going to let space stop me!!! I will adapt!

And here , onto the good stuff, the pics!! She's showing frosty hairs i'm getting so excited and its only been the first day I can really tell she's female!!
