Hey Guys and Gals

Just started a little growroom (actually a walk in cupboard). Bought some WW seeds from a local store and so far things look good. My light is a 400w HPS and Im growing it in a Autopot. Soil is Terra Proffesional Plus, and I'm using Terra Nutrients. So far the Terra stuff works well and as you can see the plant is nice and bushy, It is just 10 days old now.

I was hoping to smoke this plant around Xmas, but I'm getting worried that it won't be possible.

i dont think they will be ready at Xmas

If you notice in the second pic, that the bottom leaf is bent and looks kinda deformed. Is that a sign of something? Should I be worried?

Yeah, my plants are about the same point. Unless you flower as soon as the plant allows you to, then I don't think you are going to have a chance at Christmas. That would be a small yield too. Who knows though, maybe you can do it..

I am planning on harvesting mine sometime in Jan. hopefully. Probably towards the end of Jan. I know Greenhouse WW flowers for only about 8-9 weeks so you could have a chance if you just quick dried a little bit of it and let the rest mature.

Not sure about the curling. Could be because the temps in your room, and the leaves are getting enough water in time from the roots. That happened to me and my plants look a little similar. I will check back to see if someone more knowledgeable can give you better info. Looks good so far though.

Yeah the curling might be heat related, I'm still not sure how far from the plant the light should be(400w HPS), the room does get fairly good ventilation and the room temp never gets above 29C, it usually floats around 27C. Today I stuck in some reflective sheeting on the wall, hope it helps and is not pointless. It is the proper Mylar stuff.

Does anybody here rate the Canna Terra range of Nutes? At the moment I am using Terra Veg, Rhizotonic and Cannazym.

looks like magnisium defenciency. i had the same problem with my WW babies.

quick, water with Epson salt and foliar spray at suggested strengths. check the growFAQs.

you really think i could be magnesium def. that early? i think its heat related. i had a few of my WW leaves curl a lil when they were younger but i dont think its anything to worry about. if it gets worse yeah but mine didnt and now they are 3 weeks into flowering and looking great! i just really dont think it could be mag. def. that young.

I agree with billybob, a few days into the grow I did put the light really close not knowing how close was too close, I know now. I was giving it a half dose of nutes and the soil already had some nutes, so it couldn't have been that. Plus the new growth is growing like crazy and its really green and lush. I will keep an eye on it and if it gets bad I will give it a stronger dose. Cheers for the replies
