    Cool Milky Trichomes

I still have a while to go i have not looked at the trichomes on my ladies.. im only at 35 days./ i was wondering if you harvest when theres just milky trichomes is that still sufficient? or is it better to wait until you see some amber trichomes as well? i definatly want a energetic high so i was thinking i was gonna wait just for milky trichomes, but will that decrease the length of the high?

5 weeks is definitely too early, you should really go for at least 8 weeks, and even then they might not be done
I'm at 9 weeks with my bagseed and they are milky but no amber yet, one plant looks done, the other 2 look like they are 3 weeks behind that plant

Oh well conventional wisdom is to at least wait until most are milky and some are past milky and turning amber (most common figure is half amber half milky (and that more amber = more couch lock type stoned). But in addition to this they will look more done, pistils will have darkened and at least begin to recede into the plant. Here is a link to a thread I made with pics of my plant, they were all subject to the same conditions (except the one was pulled sideways), one is obviously far more done than the other 2 (even though they are both 9 weeks in flower). Almost Ready to Harvest: Questions

you might find that you get to 8 or 9 weeks and you still have more to go!
that is the problem i'm having right now

I wait till it's 5 - 10% amber, that way the buds get to fill out a little before harvesting.

Soon, very soon....a week, 10 days. How much amber? And, are you flushing?
