this is the phone charger i found input 230v output 7.5v would this be fine?

and theres 3 wires coming out of the fan a red one a black one and a yellow one hoe should i do this?

If your fan is 12V, which most are, then it will be enough to power it... just not at full speed. I tried using a 5v cell charger and barely got half speed on a 12v fan, however, I'm now powering two 12v fans with a 15v transformer and they are running at full blast.

As for the wiring, just use red and black.

look for a charger thats the same volts as the fan whic i beleive is 12v and just wire them up and wala you got ur fans up and running thats wut i did but at first i had a charger with more volts then the muffin fan and i blew it out deeee de deeeee so yea try that and let us knoe if it worked out

no ive just tired a usb lead but that dident work are you sure that you dont have to do any thing with the yellow wire

i think the yellow was a wire for a switch of some sort but yea my fans had a yellow wire too but all i did was pull the whole wire out and only used the black (ground) and red (power)

dont use the yellow,connect red and black if it dont work change em round

i bought my self a multivolt adaptor 1.5 3. 4.5 6. 9. 12v i wired it up now by changing the voltage with the switch i can control the speed of the fans and my temps accordingly
