Autoflower?

One strain I know of for sure, at least in my experience, is AK-47 ... and some AK-47 crosses. But, for clarification, you still have to turn the lights back to 12/12 to get nice buds. I've had AK-47 crosses, in cutting form start flowering under 24/0 in the cloning cabinet using flouros. But, in order to grow the plant, they had to be put under the normal vegging/flowering light (600hps) 18/6 to veg, then 12/12 to grow big buds.

No, you do not have to go 12/12 to flower the autoflowering strains. the only strain i know of off the top of my head is lowryder #2. i think lowryder does as well. havent done much looking into it but you can keep the lights 18/6 or 24/0 so the plant gets as much light as veg but still flowers. I want to look into this myself because when only growing this one strain there is no need for 2 rooms. since it autoflowers you can do everything in 1 room. i only have 1 room and no where at all i can veg so im stuck with long harvests right now.

EXTACLY!! I dont have room to have a sepearte veg and flower room. So you can just take clones off of the plant and put it there and let it grow under the same light as its mother that is flowering?

That is correct however with the short life span of lowryder clones arent that great, also you dont want clones under an hps at first. i cant give you many words of wisdom on the clones. There may be another auto flowering variety that may be better to clone, with a longer lifespan to have time to recover and grow before flowering itself.

No problem, my two-month old baby and retarded people find lots of stuff funny...and that guy, too.

Those autoflowering plants are actually really good plants, and give great yield, if you manage them right. They do only grow to about half a meter, though, so they fit in spaces other plants won't.

Clone them? Yes, done it. You have to do it before it the fourth week, and it has to be kept quite cool, about 10 degrees C. It worked for one clone, then the clone of that clone. After that, the third attempt resulted in a stall.

People recommend 18/6 for them, but I get maximum height from 16/8 until they flower, then at four weeks I use 18/6. Any more and they finish too fast, and too small.

I've only used a variety of Masterlow that wasn't original, but it was great herb.

The auto-flowering plants are, to my knowledge, are from the Ruderalis species of cannabis. They have less THC than Indicas or Sativas, yet are short, and auto-flower due to the unchanging light cycles.

We just harvested an AK47 Autoflower after growing for 5 weeks under 6-150 watt CFL's 24/7. Buds were loose but ample and yeilded nearly 4 ozs. Humidity hovered at 50% and fed with nutes. Get this..medium was miracle grow as that is what the seeds were started in before they were given to us. Flushed with bottled water/sugar mix for 5 days before harvesting.:weed:

This thread needs a boost--very interesting. I have an AUTO AK and i'm going to harvest the top 2/3rds of the plant and try to re-veg. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

what makes a auto autoflower?? yes just like light trigers flowering in sativa and indica there is a triger for flowering in autoflowers so experimenting does pay off

you can suspend autos by manipulating there enviorment just like light trigers other plants autos are trigred by soil temp as well sometimes heavy blue spectrim can affect a auto i curently have a 5 week old male lowryder 2 that flowerd at 3 weeks and curently is regresing he is droping his polen sacks intact as they shrivel up undevoloped a week ago i was colecting polen off this guy if we can figure out all the trigers on autos then maybe we can one day clone them
