Computer Case Grower!
Hey everyone im new to these forums and this is my first time growing, i really like the support ive seen displayed by the key members who prowl this digital tome of knowledge, i have studied horticulture for the past 2 years and have a very comfortable knowledge about plants, ive made this forum in order to gain some followers who can help me with my newest plant (dutch passion skunk#1 feminized), i currently have a 5 week old bagseed which ive somewhat given up on, im pretty sure it died due to multiple deficiencys but i went into this endeavour with the less is more mentallity playing on the fact weed is a weed and it would do fine without much human intervention, clearly is not the case inside of a computer case, so lets move onto my mini growroom, it is a large pc server tower which has 6 fans mounted inside (3 for intake 3 for outake, there are two 23 watt cfls ( daylight so 6500k), the temperature inside is consistently around 76-82 so its not too hot inside. Ive invested in this equipment as a learning experience and maybe if i get a beautiful lady il take a clone or two, i dont expect more than an ounce MAX (high hopes
), so the reason im posting this thread is because i feel it might interest some of you exemplary growers to critique what is going to be happening over the next while, but as i said i currently have one dying plant which i believe has bitten the dust, but with my freshly germinated and planted skunk#1 seed so il be diverting my attention to it, i want feminized so i can run it along a chicken wire shelf i have inside of the case ( kind of like a scrog), and if i did that and it turned out to be a male thats alot of wasted time. So lets begin unveiling pictures, i can post pics of whatever you all would like to see, im going to start off with a summary of the case and then the sickly plant that once brightened my day. Oh btw im growing using an organic soil mix.

Here are the more recent pictures, taken 5 mins ago lol, the lights are on a timer going 18/6, im wondering is that the proper way to sprout seeds?, fill peatcup with dirt lightly, sow germinated seed into loose soil a 1/4 inch deep, lightly sprinkle with dirt, water to let things settle, and then place into a humidity dome (mini greenhouse) under lights to generate heat to spur sprouting??
Also I was using nestle aberfoyle bottled water to water it, i now realize that was a terrible idea as the ppm of the water is 520, is that a serious problem?
