Solo Cup Grow - CFL question

I would go with a 100 watt. use warm colors for budding and cool colors for vegging... I hope you dont plan to grow the whole plant in that cup because thats not close to enough room for the roots

I've heard you need to have around 1 gallon container per 1 foot of plant so figure about a 5 gallon container in the end for each plant.

not true, go check out hardrocs solo cup grow. hes flowering in a solo cup. ill go find the link for you.

Actually the plant will die before it even grows a few inches if left in that cup the roots cant breathe and will soon rot. Get a 12 inch pot with holes for drainage and this will house a 3-4 foot plant in my findings. Go with 6500k for vegging and 2700-3000k for flowering.

You can get a 8" plastic pot with holes in it for under $3 and makes it alot easier. The reason for solo cup growing is so the plant will go into flowering faster than if it was in a big pot. Do it and see its a bitch to keep the water drained and constantly having to flush because of the lack of room.

more proof it can be done, tho be warned it will be harder to maintain in such a small container. but fucking LOL at that first pic
