seedling to flowering how long?

hey guys. was just wondering how long it takes from beginning of the seedling stage to the end of the flowering stage? thanks!

Depends on how big you need your plants to be. if you want smaller plants figure about 4 weeks veg and 9 weeks of 12/12. This is a rough estimate for your average 8 week strain from seed.

Veg until it shows sex.. (around 3-5 weeks) and put into flower. Average flower time from 12/12 (if it shows sex) is 7-8 weeks for Indica and 10-12 weeks for Sativa. If you put it into flower before showing sex, start counting the weeks as soon as it does.

Like the guy above me said, it all depends on the size you want your end plant to be. Typically I grow from clones, and the beauty of that is that it is a mature plant (the nodes are alternating instead of being symmetrical), which helps to make stronger plants. For the most part, plants from seed reach maturity after a month and a half, so i would say start it then, and during flowering your plant will probably triple in size so make sure you have enough room to finish. hey guys , iv just put 5/6 seedlings about 3 to 4 inch tall under 24 hr light from a 250 watt light .
would really appreciate if any body has any tips to help me on this stage of veg as i dont want to burn them etc,
this is my first grow so any help would be much appreciated

shit the best way to find things on this website is to go to google.com, do an advanced search with the criteria being only for the domain of rollitup.org. You will find a lot more information that if you use the search on the forums.
