First grow, not sure if its good.
Hi everyone first time grower here i and i just wanted some feedback on how the plant looks...i know the set ups a bit crap but im v. low on budget plus its a designed more for stealth. Theres 3 lights one 125W cfl on top one 20W in front usually (where the pic was taken from) and one 20W behind it. The only reason im a bit puzzled is everyone elses plants on youtube etc seem to have like a cononpy or lots of exposed stem below and mines leafy to the soil! OH YEAH its week 4 and shes 11 inches now (8 in pic). Ive been using some standard compost, distilled water, just some miracle grow and cannazym enzymes to help the roots. When sprouting i placed an upside down lampshade on 'Rebecca' with foil on to get some more light. Pot sits on a small polystyrene base i made with large holes for proper drainage from the pot. Please tell me if she's bad or needs a trim or something!

hey bro, she looks good! you dont want a stretched out stemmy plant. if the plant is stretched, the buds will stretch and you'll endup with small popcorn nugs. you want it to be bushy and compact like that =) you'll get big fat colas.

well done, it looks very nice and healthy. thats not tin or aluminum foil on your walls and in the reflector you made is it?

errr, the first time i read the post i overlooked/didnt notice the foil part of it right away. lol. dont use tin/aluminum foil bro, it can cause hotspots and is not as refective as you would think. I paint my growbox insides flat dull white for reflecting myself.

the only thing i see that you could do better is to add an oscillating fan blowing on your plants.
or you could go cheap and use inside out dorito bags =) or emergency blankets($3 for about 10 sq feet)

you asked if you should trim your plants. dont!!!!! if this is your first grow like you said the best thing you can do is watch and see and learn. just let them do their thing. you will happy for not interfering with mother natures work. then later when you have experience you do things that work along with mother nature. best wishes
if you are looking out only for yourself you will undoubtedly screw the people around you.... if you are looking out for the people around you, you surely will be sucsesful!
