Calcium Magnesium plus question

I use ro water and want to know should i add this to every watering?And how much per gallon?Thanks

Hey MR.

I use R/O water myself and imo it depends on what stage you are at in the grow and if you are feeding any nutes and what does your soil have in it?

I was foilier feeding with a reduced dose of cal/mag during veg and that seemed to be enough. When I switched to flowering, I stopped spraying them and started adding a little Epsom salts with there nutes because they were showing a little deficeincy this past week. it seems to have cleared up so far.

I have not added any extra cal because my nutes have enough for now.

Watch your plants for any signs of a def starting and give them what they need and you will be alright.

thanks im using ffof and all the nutes from fox farm.so would you say during flowering if i only see minor def use epsom salt?did you go withhalf dosage of what bottle said?

I am useing Dyna Gro and it is a little short on the mag but plenty of cal. I think that is why they started to show a def.

I am not familiar with the ingredients of the FF line but make sure to check what you are going to feed them to see if it contains cal/mag. if not you may need to add a slight amount.

I myself always use a reduced amount for feeding(1/4 recomended dose). You can always add more, but its hard to reverse the damage from overdosing them. The cal/mag I am using is from Cutting Edge Solutions and is a 2 part system. the calcium calls for 1 tsp(5ml) per gallon and the magnesium is 2 tsp(10ml) per gallon. I only used 1.5ml of each for folier feeding and about the same if I only water them with no nutes. I added the epsom salts instead of the mag suppliment because I think the plants are able to uptake it faster and I started to loose fan leaves.
