The Nyc Diesel I have been growing for about a week still has no leaves what so ever...and the bulb at the top is a brown color, almost looks like it's a little burnt up. the stock of the plant is green and beautiful! I haven't been over watering and I am pretty sure it's not a defficiency, although I did have some foil surrounding the room....that I took down any help would be greatly appreciated!

bulb on top? do you mean the shoot coming from the seed, your seed mite have dryed out when germing, how did you germ them, and were did you get your seeds? when you say no leafs?, do you mean not even the first little round ones, what is act. there,

sometimes theres this little membrane that doesn't fully come off and will cause this... if you can, just lightly pull it off with your fingers, or if you can do that, take a razor and CAREFULLY cut it off... not the whole thing, just the membrane keeping the two cotyl leaves bound....

Yeah thanks for the help lumberjack....that's what it was. I took some tweazers and took it off. All is good now!
