Here's my 4th attempt garden at 8days now. 8 seedlings under 7 26w cfl's 2700K left 2 pics ( best plant) middle 2 ( group pics) right 1 ( the runt, he's growing soooooo slow but he's cute any feedback would be great. Based on 8days of growth under cfl's how do you all think there progressing?.. watered every other day now. room temp is high 80's low 90's. fed with 1/2 dose of miricle grow 2 days ago. Every plant seems to be at the same stage (2 leaf sets with inner set growth) just a huge diff in plant sizes. Is that normal or a goof up on my part?

i wouldnt feed until the little round leafs, die and fall off, theres anuf food in the soil for now, your plants look smallish but they will pick up, just do what your doing for now but stop feeding for now.
how far are plants from lites?

ok thnx, i know in the pic the lights look far away, that was just so i could take the pic without the lights being in the way. I keep the fixture about 1-2 inch above the tallest plant. About the feeding, what u said, i have been told by numerous ppl but considering how slow there growing i thought a bit of food would speed things up. Has done no damage so far burn wise ( guess i got lucky) but ill lay off the food for the next few weeks. Ill post updated pics in a few days. thnx for the input

yeah I agree about no food for now. Give your babies time to establish their roots and get to vegging. Then they will grow stronger and better. Good luck to you~

yeah I use superthrive at that stage. It helps to establish strong roots and prevent shock. You can get it at any Hardware store or wal mart like store.

yes sounds good, you dont want to start burning plants at such early stage. i find plants dont need food upto 3/4 weeks, maybe once a week after week 2 to 4 then start feeding propley at 3/4 week depending on size.
