Hi everyone. im new to growing and have a room set up with 24 girls growing well. ( please see mu other threads )

Anyways

I just wanted to know where to put my humidity calculator. i.e right next to the plants or up high somewhere.

Also can any1 tell me what humidity the room should be at throughout the veg and then the flower periods.

Im growing a mix of armageddon, PPP and white russian.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

kindest regards Danny...bongsmilie

Not an expert on humidity, but from what I've read, you want 50-70 percent during veg, and around 20-40 percent during flower. Again, no expert here, just what I've seen here. I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts on this.

Put your meter somewhere close to the foliage. In veg 50% is good, 60 is even better if you can get it. In early flower start dropping it to maybe 40 and in late flower 30s or even 20s is desirable. For very young seedlings or clones, a humidity dome is often helpful.

Oh what a good idea "know". I get it.. The evaporating water will be in the air. Should i ph the water bucket to make sure its at around 6? And should i put it in front of my osolatin fan or in between the pots or both?

But thanks for that i never would have thought of that.....

Hey bro,

I've covered this a few times in other threads. I've tried everything possible, from buckets of water to wet towels, to foliar spraying the whole grow room. Sure, it raised the humidity from <20% to 30% but nothing beats a humidifier. Invest in one now, especially with 24 plants - you're going to need at least one.

Happy farming,
