The Scrubber shouldn't damage the plants, but if you want to be safe just run it through the exhaust fan.
Edit: I think youre thinking about Ozonators damaging your plants

I noticed the replies tonight are starting to slow down, maybe because it's Saturday night and everybody's out smoking pot, I'm not sure. lol :eyesmoke:

I'm a total newbie myself, but thought I'd chime in with my 2 cents.

Normally, according to my research, and what I have with the grow I just started, is that the carbon filter usually has air PULLED through it. Therefore, you like have an exhaust fan blowing air out of the growing area, but the carbon filter is attached to the intake part of the exhaust fan. Therefore, as air is exhausted out of the grow area, the air gets pulled through the carbon filter, thereby filtering the exhaust area and getting rid of the smell.

I don't have an ozonator, but my research indicates that's a device which is another way to get rid of the smell. It uses ultraviolet light to "kill" the smell. However, it kind of produces a smell of it's own in doing so, it's my understanding it smells like a type of smell like after a rain or that sterile smell like in a hospital, but I'm not totally sure, not only am I inexperienced at this point, I don't have an ozonator.

Hope that helps.

I used to have air being pulled through my filter which was in my grow tent, now i have air pushed through it outside my grow tent, just the opposite way but works the same, i never noticed any difference in the both

i have my 4" exchaust sucking from my grow tent and pushing it through my filter, works fine
