BOTANICARE ~nute additives~

As I approach week four of the bloom phase, I was looking for some input regarding Botanicare "Sweet". I have read lots of info regarding Molasses, I just prefer dropping a few extra bucks on new school tek. I am using PRO-BLOOM right now, but It seems time to add some extra goodness. My question is this...There is Sweet "berry"...Sweet "Citrus"...and sweet "Grape". Are these gonna give my budz the essential essence of "berry,Citrus, or grape"? As in aroma/flavor? I'm using a true DWC system and it's worked perfectly so far. 600 watts in the walk in closet. PLEASE ADVISE!

If you want to spend some cash on an additive for late in flowering I would get FoxFarms ChaChinga. It def helps with oil and resin production. IMO adding a specific flavor or taste to a plant through additives is a myth.

People are swearing by the grape "sweet." I haven't tried it yet, always used the regular sweet. Have you tried the "Liquid Karma?" I've had good results with that too. It seems to add bulk to the buds.

IMO, you shoudl probably choose the best enhancer per your strain, for example, super lemon haze would probably like the citrus sweetener...the purples probably do well with the grape or melon combo....anyways theres no one right or wrong way to do this my friend, i personally have seen success with a combo of the botanicare sweet with bud candy! and i also have to agree with the liquid karma comment, i have seen that be very effective as well, however i have my own room now so we'll see how it works for me...check out my journal....

liquid karma smells like molasses think about it .. so does humboldt honey etc etc etc

i use iliquid karma as well but with earth juice molasses .. i tried every version of sweet and had great results.. but it only smells like what the name( like the berry is i agree changing flavor with additive is a myth .....and it didnt do shit for the smell or taste of final buds ......taste and smell are genetic i think .... SOMEONE PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG ...

I dare ya!!

BUT better buds smell and taste better dont ya think

sweet is a simple glucose ( sugar) that the plant can absorb .. i use liquid karma ,sweet and earth juice molasses, gravity, purple max ,bushmaster . and budswell and the three step cutting edge mix..AND my shit rocks..

hydro in hydroton 1000hps on movers..lots of ventialtion and co2

sugar and molasses will ferment in your reservoir....sweet will not

at least that is what a 40 year hydro veteran told me , I didn't really want to put his theory to the test though.

Sweet isn't supposed to impart your plant with flavor. Its high in Sulfur and Mag. The Sulfur has been proven to help with resin production. I have heard of some who use epsom salts for the same purpose. I recommended Sweet for all growers. I am not saying all other resin producing products are not as good. I am saying I use sweet and it works, period.

Molasses is a carbo load which helps with nutrient uptake. There are a lot of products on the market that do the same thing. I just use it because I have everything else covered through other products and its really cheap. In my tests is absolutely increases bud size and density. Recommended for soil growers.
