whats up fellas..

i was wondering how often or how rare plants have 2 colas instead of one?
is that something u see all the time. and if it turns out to be female. how much should i expect to yield.? dont know the strain. probably will be using red spectrum and regular cfls to flower....i bought a hps bulb..then was lookiing online for a fixture.....HOLY SHIT.....i brought the bulb back to home depot......one day ill have a baddass grow room but not at the moment...

Topping the plant can produce multiple colas but you have to ask yourself what is better, one big cola or two half sized ones. The yield for my understanding is typically about the same though I haven't done or even seen any scientific experiments to back any of it up.

The best yield is done by topping. If you top the plant it will produce multiple side colas.

I would have a hard time believing the side colas are half the size of one big cola. The tallest colas are usually the biggest. But it you have multiple tall colas then you have multiple harvest.

I guess it depends on the plant so watch your strain. Some plants branch out and some just grow strait up.

G13 grows strait up.

White Widow branches.

So G13 would not be a good plant to top. White Widow would be a good plant to top because it will produce more main colas because it's main cola has been topped.
