Hi guys

alright i have 3 plants. theyre only about 4-5 inches tall. theyre 2 weeks old from putting the seeds into germination to growing. i would say they popped out i say 8 days ago. the leaves turned yellow on the small round leaves, but i think my friend mightve watered to much. Do you guys think theyre doing alright in growth? or might they be stunted from over watering?

thanks

Slow the watering down a bit you will see visual evidence of it working in a day or more. They will make an easy recovery as long as they arnt dead. Buy or moisture meter or get used to your finger being dirty from sticking it into the panter to see if its moist at the bottom still. Another thing only water once every 2 days or so. Less if the pot is 2-3gallons or more.

If you had pics i could tell you if i think they look good. hard to tell if i cant see :D

Take Air'sd advice, get a moisture meter, 5 bucks at home depot, best 5 bucks youll spend. I know it was the best 5 bucks ive spent.

Keep it moist at root level, Stick the meter where you think the roots are.

Edit- I water only when my meter reads 2 in the red zone, and have had good results. Just water good when it reads that low and get all the soil wet through the whole pot.

don't you want to stick it all the way to the bottom? because if it's still moist in the bottom the roots will grow towards it giving you better roots. after its dry all the way then you re water, if im not mistaken. as the last reply says

Sorry lemme clear this up , if there was a way (there isnt thats easy to do) to keep your soil the same wetness through the grow that would be sweet, What I was trying to get accross is that he doesnt need his plants real wet he should aim for it being moist.
