I am a newb, I have one plant. I found a seed in my drawer and put it in a pot of old soil. It grew like mad, so I found this site on what to do next. My plant is beautiful, 16 branches , each having from 1 to 7 little buds. They look as if someone licked them and stuck them in the sugar, covered w/ crystals. My question is this, if I wait for bigger buds , can I over wait and harm my buds? I have only used sunlight through open windows. and have been moving the entire plant to a closet a night. not the best way I know but for now all I can really do. I am trying to wait 2 more weeks. My kids shoved a penny in my memory card reader so I cannot send any pics. any help is much appreciated

lol, damn kids, the quick answer is yes, if u let a plant bud for to long the thc will degrade over time but i wouldnt be worried about that in your case, most people think their plants are ready to harvest well before they really are.. if u can, get your hand on a magnifying glass/microscope thats atleast 30x, maybe even 50x (i have one for 60-100x, works fantastic) to see the trich's, then u will know for sure.. if u cant get ahold of one follow the rule of thumb, wait till the hairs are about 75% brown, usually means u can chop her down. and if u do get a chance, pics are helpful... very helpful
