I finally got a 400w MH light. The thing is hot as hell though. It raised the temps in my area from a nice 72 (under floros) to roughly 85. (with the fan on contsantly.)

Now, The light has a 400w MH "UV Filtered" M59 bulb in it.

It says that it is UV Filtered on the side of the bulb.

Is this light going to be okay for growing? or is the UV light something that is required ?

They seem to have really filled out with foilage compaired to just a couple days ago when they were under the floros.




So the fan that I was using as an exhaust took a shit and I'm assuming worse case senerio that the temps in my area climbed up to 100F and maintained at that level for several hours. (5-12 hours). The max temp that was reached was 100F according to the temp gauge.

So I misted them and they are in a dark period at the moment. They have been on 24hr light pretty much for the last 2 months with random dark times off.

Most of them look perfectly fine but there are a couple that look rather weak now, the fan leave stems have became really limp causing the fan leave to drop. Compaired to before the heat wave when they were strong and firm.

is there anything else that I can really do in order to revive these girls?
