you still have some time you dont need to move them yet unless you start noticing that the growth is being stunted

Whats up, bro? Thought I would drop you a line and give you some love. For only 11 days, your plants look great. If your concerned about them being short, although as you already stated, Widow is a relatively short strain anyway, then you can raise your lights. This will allow the plants to initiate a little bit of a stretch. However, I don't recommend anymore that 2" away from the tops, maybe say 1.5" for your strain. In addition, it isn't necessarily a bad thing to be 'short'. You want the nodes of the plant (the appendages where each set of leaves protrude) to be close together anyway, unless your growing SOG (thats another story all together)! Keep this in mind for when to initiate flowering: Either when your plant reaches 18-24" tall OR when the nodes of the plant begin to stagger. IOW, currently there will be even or parallel growth from each node (ie, where one leave grew, there will be another leaf opposite it 180 degrees on the other side of stem). When your plant starts to generate new leaves, and this new growth is staggered, or uneven, or NOT parallel any longer, it is time to flower.

AN's are good food! Iguana Juice is great for Veg. However, even though it's organic, be careful not to overfeed. At the beginning of week 3, I would recommend 1/2 strength initially, and progress to 3/4 strength and full strength progressively over following weeks. Unfortunately, I can't be anymore specific than that b/c I'm not there to monitor your habits or the plants! Check out youtube, search, 'hydroponics secrets' with Erik Biksa of AN's.

Bud Blood is some amazing stuff! You can actually start to supplement using this nutrient a few days (Ive heard up to a week) prior to initiating flowering just to get a jumpstart. Big Bud is great, as well. Don't push your plants w/ Big Bud unless you have a PPM/EC tester. Just use a slightly less than recommended each time, taking into consideration the health of the plant. You will ultimately have to decide whether your concentration is too weak/strong based on plant health and observation. Last, since you have the couple, already... If you can afford to pick up some 'Overdrive', this is the last nutrient in the trio of nutrients that complete AN's recommended bloom cycle supplementation. It gives better yields in the last couple of weeks when the plant is tired and using up remaining nutrients stored in the plant. FYI, sensizyme is amazing, as well. The reason why I like it, is that it can be used throughout growing, it 'cleanses' your soil so that you can re-use, keeps the roots of the plants in great condition, and it can double as a flushing component, so that you don't have to buy 'Final Phase'.

You'll be surprised at how fast they are going to grow, or at least based on what I've seen already. IMO, it's pretty important to transplant before you start to get spinout in the 4" pots. The reason for this is because it's imperative for the plants to built nice root systems, in order to get the most out of the plants. If kept too long in the 4"'s you will get stunting, which in some situations affect the progression of the root system long term. Better to transplant too early, than too late. Just isn't ideal to water a huge pot with a small plant in it for 2-3 weeks. I would check the root system on Sunday depending on growth over the next couple of days. If the roots are starting to proliferate extensively against the sides of the pot, she's ready! I made this mistake on my first grow b/c I started with too many plants. The ones that lagged ended up producing about 1/2 the yield as the ones that I transplanted a week earlier. There are many other variables that probably contributed to this low yield, but transplanting too late definitely contributed.

hey man thanks alot for the facts and information, its been greatly appreciated! So you think i should check them on sunday (this will be the 2 week mark) i think im going to transport them into 3 gallon containers a few days after sunday - this will mean that its been 2 and 1/2 weeks - i think this should be fine dont you? ive just checked the plants today and put the fan blowing around them - i do this thru the day and then have the wardrobe shut at night and seems to be working like a treat. luckily i have my temps perfect around 75 degrees with humidity @ like 50 degrees. i havnt watered today as i will wait till 2morrow i feel even tho the soil always seems to be dry. Thanks for the update on the Advanced nutrients - when i say 1/2 strength and 1/4 strength and so on what does this mean? do i need to find a 1 gallon container and then mix the feed into this and jus feed out of this? how do i mix up my AN - i was thinking on buying a 1 gallon container adding the iguana juice in and then just feeding the plants until i seen water coming out the drainage holes at the bottom? this sound like a plan? say get a 1 gallon pot put half a table spoon of iguana juice into the mix - mix it up and then feed? correct? the soil im using already seems to have nutrients in so i dont wanna rush them along - one of my plants as you can probably see has some yellowing leaves the 1st leaves it produced - i think this is just off the soil but all thr rest of the leafes are a true lush green which is good
ill let you know how my babys fair up in the next few days ok mate - kept the lights @ like 2 inches guna have to move them up an inch tonight as 1 of the little ladies is almost touching the top of the light. Ill be in touch and up date you with pics in the next few days then you can tell me what you think - WHITE RHINO i cant wait to smoke my plants = god it must be a great feeling toking ur own magic - right take it easy

i wont be adding nutes yet - jus moved the from light mix bio bizz soil to - normal bio bizz all mix soil which has nutes in it - there doing ok but wudnt mind u lookin at them and seeing wot u think -
