Hi new to the forums and just had a couple questions...

my past grows have always been outdoor cause i like to keep things simple usually but Ive began setting up an area in a walk-in closet at my house that i plan on using from now on. Ive read mixed reviews on led lights and what i saw the most was they are alright for vegetative growth but are lacking in the red spectrum for flowering. ($100-150 e-bay led lights) I would like to use these because im concerned about power usage and would like to keep the heat down in that small area. my main question is can i use a couple 2700k cfls as an attemt to make up for this so ill have a sucessfull grow? Any other tips would be appreciated, thanks.

from a friends grow: he gets the same results as i do with my 2x hps 400w With 2 led lams (don't know in % red or blue spectrum) and some clf's becouse the leds lack white light... So sure go for it.. Extra light never heart a bit

Or would I just be better off buying a 150w hps and using some cfls's to help veg?
