wow I guess I've just been burning money buying these nutrients......wish I had known that when i first started growing...............C'mon people are you guys being serious. Of course you need nutes. You CAN grow with none but your crop is going to be marginal at best. Only way you can grow a good crop with no nutes is if its outdoors. I'd like to hear from one person who has got good yields and quality products with no nutrients whatsoever.

Aright, growindabudz if you don't mind me askin you one more question, What kind of lights did you use?

me you fool ive just said that you can get a good yield with no nutes. My last grow NO NUTES!

6 32 watt cf tubes and it seems to work for me

Dude, your shit is weak, he's no fool. You're the fool wasting countless lumens on those loose, weak buds.

Of course you want to use nutes. You have to in hydro, but as stated earlier, your plants will burn through the natural nutes in any soil. You should also use a flower fortifier from week 4 onwards. Do not use a foliar spray. I also use bat guano. Some people like worm castings in their soil. What most of us do, we do it with pride, and we continually learn how to improve. Think really hard and then ask why science has told us one thing, and people like GrowinThaBudz rewrite the book.

Aside from NPK, your plants also need calcium and magnesium additives. If you dont use nutes, your plants will never finish properly. You may be able to grow small mediocre buds, but you're missing out on so much

I started four plants and gave them no nutes for about 5 wks. I then added more lights under the top foliage and gave them just a bit of jacks vegitative fertalizer and they doubled in bushyness and height in a week. I guess it is all in what you want. I understand both methods. I really can't tell the difference in the smoke, other than the fact that it produces higher quantity faster than going organic. To each there own.
