i need help guy i got yellow spots on the bottom leaves got pic just cant figure out how to get em on here

Your fine, thats water burn from water being on the leaves and sitting under the light the same thing happend to me, take a look at my grow journal you will see the link is below, just try not to get water on the leaves next time

appreciate guys i got 5 plants and all of them have it on them a little bit on the bottom leaves and i had no clue why. If i where goin to add nutes about how old should i let the plants be so it doesnt shock or burn the roots up?

I am by no means an expert, but it would depend on what type of soil you are using. I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest, which has a good nutrient supply in it, and I usually wait till about the 3rd or 4th week and start adding nutes every other watering at about 1/2 strength. If you start noticing your bottom leaves turning slightly yellow then you should go ahead and start. After about the 5th week I bump it up to full strength. Once you get a few grows under your belt you get a better feeling for this sort of thing.

I'll take all the help i can get right now i got 3 100 watt cfl's 1 6500k and 2 5000k and a floru grow light i know i need alot more lights well really i need alot of stuff but really i just started off with miracle grow moisture control potting soil i got 2 bagseed plants that are about 2 months old and 3 chrystal sprouts and another seed a just got from a bag of smokin stuff...but 1 of the chrystal sprouts just stopped growing shortly after it broke the surface...i would give pictures but it says they're to big and i need to re size them and not really sure how to do that...

Yes yellow on the leaves like that can mean too much water, but be sure you also have the lights far enough away so its not the light burning the leaves like that. i would keep the light 12-18" away.

Turn the resolution quality down on your camera. That'll help. ANYWAYS.....I have grown with CFL's forever....and it's really hard to achieve LIGHT BURN with them. They have to be like within an inch and decent size water droplets. CFL photons do not dispurse in a linear pattern like HPS lights do. Making it very difficult to focus the light.

If it's happening to all of them, maybe over watering, or lack of ferts, which shouldn;'t happen at this stage, unless your dirt is severly lacking.

IF your CFL's are actually 100w, the you have enough light. HOWEVER> it is my feeling that you have 100W equivelent.
Which means your cfl's are 23-27 Actual watts. Go check it out on the bulb.

Pay no attention to the guy above sayin keep them 12-18 inches away. He obviously didn;t read your light setup. You would likely only do that with HPS/HID lighting.

You wanna keep those lights 1-3 inches away at all stages if you decided to flower with them. You'll need 2700k for that.

yea they're 27 0r 26 actual watts with the equivalent to a 100 watt...do you know the difference between the cfl's i got and a 125 watt cfl from the hydro store? pic are on the way hopefully
