hey im kind of new at this and i was wondering if this is a good set up for the price
169.95 for 400w MH ballast with 400w MH bulb reflector with cord set

It's a decent deal if the shipping is cheap or free. Check out the prices at http://www.htgsupply.com though. Also, that reflector is far from the best you can get. If I owner that, I'd probably look to upgrade to a nicer hood at some point down the road.
