I'd like to start off and thank all the growers that our helping out us newbies. I'd be lost without RIU. I swear I read the FAQ 1000x and it still never gets old.

Ok. I was lucky enough to come across a Pineapple Express clone. When I got her she was in a plastic cup with fully developed roots. Unfortunately, like the newb I am, didn't think to write down the day I got her on a calender. LESSON LEARNED! Its had to have been a few weeks now, if not more, but maybe you guys can tell based on growth.

Lights: (3) T5 Fluorescent Bulbs / 24 hours a day. I know this is looked down upon by some people, but I'm excited.

I'm using Pure Vida's Grow & Floralicious Plus. I'm following the instructions on the bottles and feeding by the 'feed, water, water' method. I have a thirsty meter in the soil, but I'm kind worried so I put my finger 2 inches down and see if there is dirt sticking to my finger to tell when I should water it.

I recorded this at night time so it was a lower temperature. Since i put a low powered fan on her, the HIGH: 76 degrees F and the LOW: 68 degrees F.

In the long run, I'd like to mother this one and produce clones of it. If you can tell, I recently pinched the top of the plant to promote a bushier plant. I am buying the Recipe for Success kit tomorrow. Its a kit with some good nutrients in it, including sugar daddy. So I will be adding that to her next feeding.

It is well established, but. . . . based on indoor, outdoor, type and height of light, type and amount of nutrients, the growth can be very differed. It looks at least 4 weeks old to me, but it is hard to tell. Unless you are selling it and need acurate information to tell the buyer, I would say the age of the clone doesn't matter. If you are ready to hard veg it, or bloom it, that is where the time makes a real difference.

One point, maybe, if you used a digital camera, and you took pictures as you were going along, wouldn't they have a time stamp of some sort in the properties?

Great point, but I just started taking pictures of it. I was kinda nervous about recording any of this.

Seems to me that you are doing just fine on your own.The only thing that i would do is take of some of the bottom foilage.About the bottom 2/3 cm the yellowing leaves there dead or dieing any how.Takeing the bottom few leaves and brances out this will force the girl to fill out a little more.But the internodes are nice and compact this is good you want to keep the light has close to the top has possible without burning the plant.Make sure that you flush the plant it is has important to flush at least once or a couple of times during veg has it is in flowering.When it comes to flowering the plant flush at least 4 times through the grow with water set at 5.5 and then leave to stand for a couple of hours then feed all on the same day by doing this you will only need to feed/water once a week twice at most.Also put into a large tub the biggest that you can fit in the grow room.The bigger the tub the bigger the yeild also don't be watering every other day you will do your self no favours.By letting the plant dry this will force the plant to send out more small roots speader roots to seek out moisture.And if the plant is dry this is how to get a nice root structure.Good luck peace keep green.

What kind of light are you using?

Do you have a local Hydro Store? If so. . . you can get some co2 pucks and give her some co2 and thicken her up. . .

@ tyke1973: Thank you for your response. The yellowing leaves were something I was worried about. I heard that the plant will drive the nutrients out of the bottom fan leaves as a part of the growth. I'll trim them down tonight. Thanks.


I'm using T-5 Flourescents. I do have a local store with CO2, but I wanted to wait until I had the clones going and when I have a more established grow room. I do talk to her and give her an occasional blow job hoping that gives her some kind of satisfaction. But maybe my stinky breath is working against her lol

Talking is great for plants, the vibrations and Co2 are wonderful for her! You can give them Co2 at any point, I would just suggest that once you start, don't stop. Remember you can run a room hotter with Co2(they prefer mid 80's instead of the normal mid 70's), and to only put out Co2 when the lights are on. They generally only take it Co2 while light is on them. Also I love to have a stereo on while the lights and fans are running, helps cover up the ran sounds, and once again plants respond!

used right and that floricous plus should make up for any cal-mag deficiencies
