Default is it ok to change my light shedule

i currently have my light on 20/4 ,from 3 pm until 11 am,but i will be having someone in my house who i dont trust,and would like to change my dark /quiet phase to 7 am untill 11 am,will this stress the plants ,they are only 2 weeks old,thanks

If you cant trust this person with your little secret than you shouldnt have them over at all. Thats your best bet. I never change my light for anyone.

I guess it depends what you mean by having someone in your house. Will they be there in your absence? Will they be in that room? If so to either, bad idea. If not then why the concern? They won't see any light and noise can be explained.

cmon guys,can you answer if it will harm the plants to change the times as above,rather than worry about why and where im letting someone into the house lol

I think that if they are only 2 weeks old, then there should be no problem....but if they were longer into their cycle, I wouldn't change them.

Do you have time to gradually do it? Like switch an hour every other day? That would decrease stress. If not, I don't think 4 hrs. will make much of a diff. in that stage anyways, usually switching light cycles in the flowering/late veg stage will herm a plant.

There is no clear line in the sand that says - beyond this point the plants will be damaged. Add to that strains differ in how much stress is too much. It's taking a risk and many here are just saying it seems like an avoidable risk.
