Default male, female, or too early to tell?

Can anyone help me out here? I've never determined the sex of a plant before and I can't tell if this is a male or female.
Is it too early to tell? The plant has been on 12/12 for about 9 days now. The light schedule was kinda screwy for a few days because the timer was broke.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
