Yeh so the oldest of the 4 plants stopped getting perkey but they were also in colder clay pots where every other was in a styro white container cup.

so i decided to take one out and check the roots, all where pretty and white but bunched at the bottom, as i carefulyl dug them out they emtted a strong odor, i mean it smelled good but... maybe i stressed em?

i put them in an emergency milk gallon carton with black plastics to keep light off the roots...

they look really yellow today, they didnt yesterday...

i started them about Sept 15th and have added NO nutes to them, at all...

i have mircale grwo all purpose 13-13-13

just transplated them a few momets ago.. should i hold off on watering? or water RIGHT away?

ps my light are usually 1-2 inches from the tops, just moved it for the pictures!

thanks

they look fine... anytime you transplant something, even when you are EXTREMELY careful, you stress the plant, that's why most oldschool growers go for the biggest pots as soon as possible, anytime the roots start to get rootbound it instantly slows the growth of the plant and constricts the overall size so bigger is always better, the yellowing you see is normal since they're getting a little older and you haven't added any nutes. just a normal thirst for nitrogen... I'd add some superthrive when you transplant and anytime for that matter, helps overall plant vigor, you'll hear mixed reviews, but they sell it at every nursery, walmart, home depot, and some gas stations, if it didn't work they wouldn't have it everywhere, and it's cheap. If you can, invest in some good nutes (i.e. advanced nutrients, foxfarms, etc.) they look good! goodluck with the rest of the grow!

i had the same problem with my last couple tries. pretty much came to the conclusion that the MG soil was releasing too many nutrients for the plant and thus they all died. They didn't quite make it as far as yours but still, I switched to Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil now.

All 4 plants snapped back after the transplant. the 3 yellow are slowwwly turning green again and the wilted one is HUGE and vibrant but the dead leaf still sits on there... shuld i pull it off?
