LOL, The garden Center near me actually sells a cannabis specific fertilizer, so it's a bit hard to say its for tomatoes!

haha, even covering doesn't work out toooo well, like you and the roses, i went into a garden enter, told them i wanted john innes no2/ potting mix, when asked for what, well tomatoes innit, to which he'd have none of it until i opted for those stupid multicoloured tomato grow bags instead.... sigh.

yea, mine too. There are just certain words you don't use. I've seen people to go elsewhere because they used the wrong words or terms. Things like that can get your store shut down or investigated. 90% of them know what you're there for, so you don't have to advertise it.

If I were you, man, I would figure out exactly what I needed and make a list like somebody already said. Be cordial, thank her for the help, find what you need, and be on your merry way.

say that you don't know what you are growing, you work with storage and inventory, you have nothing to do with the actual growing....

that's that...

that said the local hydro shop is real psychedelic, painted green n purple inside, with 1000 watt HPS fixtures hanging everywhere with ducting n shit... there's no tomato growers going to that shop... FO' SHO'.....
