Default What can be told by a pictures of young veggin plants?
I took all these seeds from bags from all last year... the 6 on the left came from 1 bag (labelled "Ida")

the 3 in the middle from another (Labeled: "Kappa") and the other 6 on the right a different bag... (labelled "Delta")

its prolly unwise to use bag seed, but how do the plants look? my first grow.

i guess these are all Indicas? what else can be told from just this picture
curious

the really young one is a replacement for one that died. i have 3 others to replace the dead 3 in "kappa" bunch but they havent sprouted yet

One thing, ya might wanna adjust your plants so they aren't touching, if possible.
Better air flow and eliminates insect bridges.

Well, you can tell you have a decent growing medium. You can tell they are getting enough nitrogen because of the beautiful color. You can tell they have enough light, and that it's probably up a little high because they are a little stretched. You can tell they aren't underwatered, nor overwatered. No obvious signs of any nutrient deficiencies. Overall, they look good. Welcome to the forum!

Kinda depends on how long you plan on vegging them for. There is no magic number of weeks, it's up to you - and your space. They will grow two to three times their height once in flower, so keep that in mind. That said - while it is possible to go without transplanting them (lol see the shotglass growers contest) I would recomend a one to three gallon container, depending on how long you plan on vegging for. Myself, I veg for 8 weeks, and grow in three gallon buckets. (Can be had for a buck to two dollars).

They look great! definitely have some indicas in there, are they all indicas? no clue, probably a mix of indica/sativa. I'm no expert, but i do know those are healthy! bagseed is just really unpredictable is all... i used to use bagseed before i found a good seed vendor and i was limited on space so i'd only use seeds from shit that was outrageously potent..i.e. some of the purple strains that were going around a couple years ago... out of 10 seeds i got 6 females, 1 i killed on accident. 4 were mediocre but grew really fast and had great vigor. the last was ULTRA potent, but grew for shit, took 2 months to get a good size in veg. then when most plants triple in size on the switch to 12/12 this one didn't even double, only added 6 inches, but it tasted amazing and put your d*ck in the dirt! KILLA stuff, named her Georgewbush, there's a pic somewhere on here of it. but i dont think it's a bad thing, just not as consistent. goodluck!
