Default My first grow
I have started my first grow and my baby has already sprouted. The stem on her is pretty long and it's cause I used regular house lights. I'm now using CFL'S on her and the club leaves are getting smaller while the true leaves are growing . How much longer do you think will take before I transplant it into another soil mixture?
Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Here are the after CFL'S were added to the lighting. Is my stem on the sprout that big because I used reagular house Lights or is it the nutes? Like I said all help is appreciated .

PIC 3: Under CFL lighting
PIC 4: My baby's baby big stem and top
PIC 5: The true leaves are getting bigger.
PIC 6: The tall skinny stem.
What can I do to fix the tall skinny stem problem?

They are stretching because the light is too far away - bring them down to about two inches above the seedlings. Make sure to check at least once (twice is better) per day, so they don't grow up into them. When you transplant, bury the stem up to just below the first set of leaves. They'll be fine. Good luck!

I have already moved the lights closer. Thank you for the thought though. Right on for the help it is greatly appreciated. I thought it was time to transplant it but wasn't sure yet.

It can def go a lot longer in that cup. But since it's stretched out so much for light i would transplant it like he said

Here is my baby after the transplant. Is that better now?
I hope she didn't get shocked too much. I hope she grows big and beautiful buds.

I put her on an 18/6 light cycle. My light setup includes 3 x 100W CFL.

May want to give that stem a little bit, from the pic it looks like you buried it up to its leaves ;p here are some seedlings i let sprout outside that were heavily stretching and i put some extra soil around it so roots could grow from the extra stem that was exposed before. Here is a pic hope it gives you an idea.

even the one on the right could use a bit more soil around it, it sank a little when i watered. Go for more of the looks of the one on the left.
