1st off, i have been reading like crazy and have been trying to learn as much as i can. this is my very 1st attempt at growing. it is bagseed. if all goes well i think i might grow blueberry next as that sounds delicious.

its getting slightly yellow with burnt tips. i have yet to start feeding it. the soil is scotts soil. i water every other day when the soil is dry. fan is running 24/7 as well as the lights. im running 5 42 watt cfl's at around 2600 lumen's a piece. they are about 4 inches above now

it could be heat. do you have a thermometer?

your talkin about the warped plant...have you added any nutes so far...

not directly under the lights, i will pick one up this afternoon. the one crumpled up plant is dead, ill remove it later. i was thinking it was heat so i move the light back some. about an inch or two.

its around 85 directly under the lights. i have a fan going at all times. how else can i get the temps down without sacrificing light? i think it would be extremely hard to put in an exhaust fan. i would probably have to cut a hole in the ceiling and i would rather not. would it be better for me to construct a box out of mdf or continue to use the closet

you need to exhaust stale warm air. not sure how.

well the closet is cracked about an inch or so. the air is moving out but i assume it would be better to build a box with an exhaust and intake system.

that would be better.

or change up your light system. get uv tube plant lights. they don't give off as much heat, but give the right amount of uv rays for your plants to grow. they aren't that expensive, and will also save your plants from drying out as well.
