Angry My plant has spider mites!

Okay, so I just did some quick research, only to realize that my plant has spider mites. The leaves are spotted with yellow and white all over. I read somewhere that rubbing alcohol was good for killing them. I went out and bought 70% rubbing alcohol and just sprayed the plant with a 1:1 ratio. (focusing underneath the leaves.) What works best? My plant is suffering.
