How long did you shake? the more you shake the more the leaf crumbles and will fall through, sounds like that is what's happening to you, should have no problems if you are using 100% cotton shirt, check your shirt under a light to see if there are any abnormal size holes, also try using less weight say half a buck and or double up your shirt.

yes this method worked great for me I used a mason jar which works great cuz the middle of the lid is removable. So then I stole one of my wifes silk langirea and used that as the screen. well i used a half ounce and got only the purest of kif out and made some really good light brown hash. this shit was real tasty just a nice energetic hi with no body buzz which i hate. ima try it with the quarters inside tonight as I am running low

How dry should the trimmings be? I tried using the alchohol and coffee filter method but it didn't work out too well for me.

I find that dryer is better for quantity (not as potent, but lots of it), not to dry for quality (potent but lot less)

Note: the more you shake, and the more weight you use the less potent it will be, If you want really potent keif shake until the blond or brown (depending on the quality of trim) powder starts to turn green, once it starts to turn green that means the leaves are breaking up and falling through.

If you are using either a shirt or pantyhose, you may want to double them up for finer and more potent keif.

After shaking lots of keif, try using the following method for some good finger hash, if done right will be like Play - Doh

those resin heads are actually called tricumbs, i think what you are getting there bud are maybe some kalix's floating, or hairs for laymen.

never the more, thanx, learn something new every day...coffee grinder method i no. This one seems a little more versatile, no power needed.

Nah males don't have as many trichs or whatever their called and yes it's good to dry the weed a bit before shaking, but don't dry it too much.. try using some decent trimmings!
