Im new to growing in soil so Id like for somebody to explain the procedure of flushing during the last 2 weeks of a plants life & does the process differ when flushing for only 1 week?

flush by giving your plant 2-5 times as much water as the pot contains soil. 1 gal pot, 3 gal of water.

you can flush for one week of two, not really a big deal, but 2 weeks would be better

i see some do the 'big flush', large amount of water to clear out the nutes
some just stop feeding nutes and give pure water
i ended up doing an extended flush, i was going to just give pure water for the last 2 weeks - however, the girl just didn't want to finish, so it turned out to be a 5 week flush, just water for 5 weeks
turned out to be the smoothest smoke i've ever had, not a hint of harshness, like inhaling silk so to speak

Another beginner friendly method would be to just give plain, pH adjusted, water to the plants for the last week.

Cheers :)

Thanks fellas youve cleared that up.
I was just confused whether or not I was supposed to pour water at 3 times the volume of the pot on the beginning of the 2nd last week then water as usual without nutes OR if I should water as usual from the very start of the 2nd last week onwards. Sorry if this is confusing.
